At Kindred Heart Veterinary Hospital, we offer high-caliber, personalized care from the convenience of your own home. Our mission is to enhance the lives of pets and their human companions. Our mobile services are provided by Sunita Driehuys, VMD, Diplomate, American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (Canine & Feline Practice). Kindred Heart can offer you and your pets the best care possible with our practice in Carrboro, NC, and the house call option. Call today to schedule an appointment.

To ensure timely and dedicated service to our valued mobile clients, we focus our mobile visits within a convenient five-mile radius of our Kindred Heart Carrboro location. This allows us to maintain the high standard of care and prompt attention our clients deserve.

How it Works

At your scheduled appointment time, Dr. Driehuys will arrive at your home with her assistant(s) and the equipment and supplies necessary for your pet. Dr. Driehuys will ask questions to understand your pet’s personality, behavior, nutrition, activity, and health concerns. This initial interview provides time for your pet to become acclimated to Dr. Driehuys and allows her to observe your pet in its home environment. Your pet will then have a complete physical examination. Findings are recorded in a medical record which will be kept electronically using state-of-the-art veterinary software. Finally, we will discuss recommended diagnostics, vaccinations, medications, or preventive care and develop a comprehensive plan. After the visit, we will provide educational material and an invoice.
